Modyl is built by Aleatoric, LLC. We take your privacy seriously and want to be upfront about what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the service and communicate with you:

• Waitlist registration — your email address, name, company (if provided), and any information you include in the self-report about the agent you want to build.
• Usage analytics — anonymized page views, button clicks, and session data collected through PostHog. This helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
• Communication data — if you email us or interact with our marketing emails, we retain those communications.

How we use it

• Managing the waitlist and onboarding early-access users.
• Sending product updates and announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• Improving the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
• Responding to your questions or support requests.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:

• PostHog — product analytics. Collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting.
• Attio — CRM for managing waitlist contacts and communications.
• Loops — transactional and marketing email delivery.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection.

We do not sell your data to anyone. These services process data only as needed to provide their specific function.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Analytics cookie — PostHog sets a cookie to track anonymous sessions. No personal information is stored in it.
• Authentication cookie — if you log in to the product, we set a session cookie to keep you authenticated.

We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as you have an active account or waitlist registration. If you want your data deleted, email us at hello@modyl.to and we will remove it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email we send. For any privacy request, reach out to hello@modyl.to.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Minor wording updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
